Welcome to ICHAD Foundation
International Community for Healthy Alternatives to Drugs.
A major factor that has and still contributing to the use of substances is lack of healthy alternatives. An alternative that replaces idleness or boredom. ICHAD Foundation provides healthy alternatives that help them identify their strength and develop passion around their real identity.
Empowerment and Personal Growth
Young people involved with our organization are empowered with employable and life skills. We train and build capacity in young adults in their various communities to be role models and agent of change in their community. We have designed and implemented several innovative programs aimed at discouraging substance abuse within the vulnerable sect in the society. We emphasize positive body image, mental and emotional wellbeing and peer support as key aspects to youth empowerment and development. We inspire young people to find their passions and achieve their goals.
We believe in a community that embraces all young people and provides a learning platform or opportunity to the residents. Building positive youth and adult relationships and opening lines of communication within these communities is very important our drug prevention programs. A community that frowns against negative climates of bullying, drugs, alcohol and intolerance.
ICHAD Foundation is a youth-centered capacity development organization committed to raising responsive youth in Nigeria and across Africa; through interventions that bridges the gap in education, employability and entrepreneurship.
